Breathness with Syd: The Belly Breath
About this Meditation
What does it mean to belly breathe? The diaphragm is a big muscle that sits at the base of our rib cage and helps us breathe. If you’ve ever wondered why someone would tell you to breathe into the belly, it’s because this awesome support muscle lives here, and once engaged and used, you can actually feel yourself as a belly breather. Dan Brule, a master in breathwork, notes in his book Just Breathe that this is the method for optimal health and peak performance.
