Breathness with Syd: 4-4-6-2
About this Meditation
Similar to box breathing, this technique focuses on counting, but we take a longer exhale than an inhale. This gives it a twist of calm, meaning the 6-count exhale moves our nervous system state into parasympathetic, or what’s known as the rest & digest. Inhale count of 4, hold count of 4, exhale count of 6, and hold for a count of 2. Repeat.
