A Shared Commitment to Mental Health at Work

The Bell Seal for Workplace Mental Health, launched by Mental Health America in 2019, is the nation’s premier certification recognizing employers who demonstrate an exceptional commitment to mental well-being through a rigorous evaluation in four categories: workplace culture, benefits, compliance, and holistic wellness. Each year, only 40% of those who apply receive the certification, and only half of those who receive it earn the Platinum level. This year, organizations across Tampa Bay joined that elite group.

In the Tampa Bay region, several organizations have earned recognition—many with vital support from Tampa Bay Thrives. Notably, we are proud to share that TBT earned a Gold designation and supported Tampa General Hospital, Bentek, Champions for Children, and Heritage Insurance in achieving their designations (ranging from Gold to Platinum). 

These organizations reflect a growing regional commitment to workplace mental health, with Tampa Bay Thrives playing a pivotal role in guiding several to top-tier recognition.
