Breathness with Syd: Positive Affirmations
About this Meditation
Today, we are going to combine the breath with some positive affirmations to lend ourselves some compassion during this time of year. You may be feeling some loneliness, grief, or overextension. Please know it’s okay to feel what’s coming up for you, and it’s also okay if you’re feeling many things at once, and it seems complicated.
To start the practice, please place a hand on your heart and bring your eyes to a close. Repeat the affirmations to yourself or out loud for more enthusiasm, or simply listen and absorb the intentions.
Bring to mind self-compassion and repeat the affirmations below 3 times.
- May I be well
- May I be safe and healthy
- May I have peace and ease
- Take a big breath to anchor it in
Sit for a moment and know if you don’t have these at this moment – this is an opportunity to welcome them in energetically. Practice this as much as you need and thank yourself for doing the meditation.
