Breathness with Syd: Alternate Nostril Breathing
About this Meditation
Let’s boost our confidence and sense of self-trust. Using a well-known technique called alternate nostril breathing to target this specific goal. The left side of our brain is known to activate our masculine side, and the right for our feminine. Create a mindset that you’d like to bring forward your less dominant side, and therefore feel more whole and confident. Inhale through one side and pause, closing it off with your thumb or pointer finger. Then exhaling out the other side. Inhaling that same side and switching again, closing up the side not breathing with your finger. And repeat. It’s important to continue to think about the mindset as you go. This exercise strives to bring you into balance with those opposing sides and assists you in feeling more confident!
