Breathness with Syd: The 3-Part Breath

About this Meditation

Often we think the physical area to breath into is our front chest when most of our respiratory real estate is in our back. Today, we practice a three part breath to feel the capacity of our breath resulting in a sense of wholeness. 

First, draw the breath in the belly and exhale. Next, bring the breath to the base of the lungs filling up the sides and back body, and exhale. And then breathe into the chest, heart space and collarbone area. Then, breathe into all 3 and exhale. Do this a few times and rest. Observe how you feel.
