This past January, leaders from across Tampa Bay gathered to celebrate the five-year anniversary of Tampa Bay Thrives and its innovative approach to mental wellness in the Tampa Bay community.
The anniversary event, called “Bloom,” was held at VU Studios where attendees, including Clearwater Mayor Bruce Rector and Tampa Mayor Jane Castor, were taken on an immersive journey through five years of cultivating mental wellness, fostering meaningful connections, and driving impact across the Tampa Bay community. Each room allowed attendees to experience various aspects of the mental health journey, including sowing seeds of change symbolizing the initial steps of breaking down stigma and a moment of focus on their mental health needs at the selfie-ray wall.
Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating five years of Tampa Bay Thrives! Thanks to you, we raised over $60,000 to help make Tampa Bay an emotionally healthy community where mental health is a priority and all thrive together.
“Continuing to transform the mental health of Tampa Bay requires all of us,” said Tampa Bay Thrives President and CEO Carrie Zeisse. “Plant the seed and help Tampa Bay Thrives as we watch our community bloom.”
